At the moment all files are translated in crowdin 100% except imprint which we descided not to translate.

Note to me: In the input templates: "Place" = Ort, "Canel" = Abbrechen

karindr commented 6 years ago

Note to me: Land nicht Ort bei Filtern.

karindr commented 6 years ago

Above comments: "In ein paar Sekunden" muss heißen "Vor ein paar Sekunden"

karindr commented 6 years ago

This is used in different places!

karindr commented 6 years ago

In all templates where a date has to be entered there is YYYY-MM-DD. It would be better if we could translate these letters.

karindr commented 6 years ago

In the event template there is "Veranstaltungssprache: Language auswählen". I looked into the crwodin files there is no untranslated "language".

@acka47 can you have a look at these 4 points above? I can't find wrong/missing translations in crwodin.

In the publications template there is "Suche Konzept" below "Art der Veröffentlichung", too. "Suche Typ" would be ok.

literarymachine commented 6 years ago

"Suche Konzept" must be "Bildungssektor"

I won't go into technical details here, but it is not as easy at it seems. Currently, we display the type of entry that is being linked to, in other cases it is e.g. "Search Person or Organization":

For classifications, such as our educational sectors, the type is Concept. We could go with "Bildungssektor", "Bildungsstufe" etc. here, but this would imply replacing "Search Person or Organization" with "Search Provider", in the other examples. This would basically mean to just repeat what it says above the search box anyways:

would become "Suche Bildungsstufe". Is that what we want?

I talked to Jan about this. We decided that it would be less confusing and easier to translate it the text in the search field would be only “Search” in all cases. As @literarymachine pointed out we could also repeat the text above but there is no new information so we decided that we can skip it. This will make the translation easier and we will get rid of the untranslated “or” here. This has no high priority but will be helpful for users and translators. In some templates we should add the information given in the search field at the moment to the line above. I make a list here: “Add Organisation”-Template: Change “Member of” to “Member of (Organisation or Service)” Change “Organizer of” to “Organizer of (Event)”

“Add Service”-Template: Change “Provider” to “Provider (Person or Organisation)” Change “Uses” to “Uses Tool”

“Add Project”-Template: Change “Operator” to “Operator (Person or Organisation)” Change “Partner” to “Partner (Person or Organisation)” Change “Member of” to “Member of (Organisation)” Change “Part of” to “Part of (Project)” Change “Funded by” to “Funded by (Organisation)”

“Add Story”-Template: Change “Creator” to “Creator (Person or Organization)” Change “Entries mentioned” to “Entries mentioned (Organization, Person, Service, Project or Event)”

“Add Event”-Template: Change “Organizer” to “Organizer (Person, Organization or Project)”

“Add Publication”-Template: Change “Published by” to “Published by (Person, Organization, Event, Project or Service)”

“Add Tool”-Template: Change “Developer” to “Developer (Organization or Person)” Change “Is used by” to “Is used by (Service)”

Given this is a UI issue, what does @formimkontext say?

karindr commented 6 years ago

The error messages are still in English (for example when you don't enter a name).

karindr commented 6 years ago

"or" is still English in all sentences like "Suche Person or Organisation or Projekt"

acka47 commented 6 years ago

"Geltungsbereich" und "Status" in the Publication form only have English values, see https://oerworldmap.org/resource/?add=WebPage

karindr commented 5 years ago

In the template for "Publications" there is "Sprache: Language auswählen". This "Language" is not in Crowdin (see above, also for Events).
