It will be great if contents of scrapbook pages can be highlighted with 
selected colors.

I see there is a doAnnotation.js file in the source code, is this feature being 
developed? Looking forward to it.

This already happens. If you open a page from the folder there are facilities 
available for marking. Just select text and a marker
