First off, thank you for sharing this! I was wondering whether the taxonomy folder you included is compatible with the standard reference libraries provided by kraken2-build? In other words, can we build a custom kraken2 database not only including your GTDB_kraken library, but also several of the standard reference libraries (for example the viral and plasmid one)? I was thinking of merging the taxonomy files of your GTDB_kraken database with the ones generated by adding other reference libraries to the DB? Or are those taxonomy files not compatible with the ones of the standard reference libraries?
