N.B. this will also require changing how particles are updated - must be fed best position for each group they're a member of, or at least max thereof.

Further note - after meeting with Dr. Rohde, particles intersecting multiple groups should be "alternatingly" optimized, not optimized with the max of union of all neighborhood best positions
