Bandwidth monitor only functions in Incognito browsing #29

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Using Google Chrome Version 39.0.2171.62 beta-m (64-bit)
2. Enable Data Compression Proxy plugin
3. Open chrome://net-internals/#bandwidth in new tab
4. Begin browsing in standard mode

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect to see the bandwidth monitor update to show traffic savings. Instead,
with the exception of the "Original" and "Received" fields updating, the
"Savings (KB)" and the "Savings (%)" fields remain at 0

Compression does occur but the statistics do not display this

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Google Chrome Version 39.0.2171.62 beta-m (64-bit)
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (SP1)

Please provide any additional information below.

If I open an incognito tab with compression enabled and open the bandwidth
monitor in another incognito tab, the statistics update as expected

I can confirm this issue.
I am running Chrome 39.0.2171.95 m on Windows 8.1 64 Bit.
Would be great to see this issue fixed :)

Edit: according to http://myip.is the traffic in my "non inkognito window"
doesn't go through the proxy server.

Only the traffic in the inkognoto window passes through the proxy service.

The compression works fine if there is a "Via: 1.1 Chrome-Compression-Proxy"
response header. The stats are broken and it was filed as Issue 5.

It would appear that the statistics are functioning again when in normal
browsing mode with the compression proxy enabled. I can see the figures
updating through the bandwidth monitor

Using Google Chrome, v40.0.2214.45 beta-m (64-bit) on Windows7 Pro x64
