cIOS249 ONLY works in slot 249 #121

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install cIOSx (cIOS249) r21 Base 58 or 56 in slot 247,248 or 250
2. Configure CFG to load a game from a Fat32 HDD partition using IOS 247, 248
or 250
3. Load the game

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Game should start up, but instead, we see:

"ERROR: setting up fragments 0 3 (these numbers vary) ID mismatch: [(game ID)]
[]

ERROR: SetWBFS: -3

What version of the loader are you using?
v65 (Release)

What is your System Menu version (e.g. 4.2u)?
4.3u

What is your media type (HDD, USB Flash, SD/SDHC)?
HDD

How is your media formatted (wbfs, fat32, ntfs)?
1 FAT32 Partition

Which cios are you using, which version, which base (222,249,...)?
(Please try both 249 and 222 with cfg-222.dol)

cIOS249 r21, Base 58, 56 (haven't tried other bases)

Does it work with other loaders?
Don't know

Does it work with the latest or an older version?
Yes (63b)

Please provide any additional information below.

All bases work as long as cIOSx is installed in slot 249. Trying to use any
other slot results in the above error.

Hi, I also I have the same problem but more specifically to base 58 in rev21
also whit modmii cIOS 249 d2x v3 base 58 rev21. "ERROR: setting up fragments 0
3 (these numbers vary) ID mismatch: [(game ID)] []" and return to HBC or Wii
menu :(. My format is NTFS hard drive. I am interested in this base and
apparently is the one that loads the game We Dare.

base 58 is particularly problematic to reload to and from a different cios,
that's a known issue. Try moving 58 to a different slot... and use 56 or 57 in
slot 249.
Or try d2x v5...
anything of the above helps?
