One of the patches included in our OpenROAD build has landed upstream (https://github.com/The-OpenROAD-Project/OpenROAD/pull/4696) and can be removed from our build now.

The other one (layouttabs-...) was an unsuccessful attempt to fix failing builds and can also be removed.
