Hi, i just had this issue and my solution was to go to the earthdata web portal directly. When I logged in there it said the account required a password change for security reasons. Once I did that I tried the SRTM plugin again and it worked normally. Check your account at the earth data website. In my case I had not used the service for many months.
Thanks @mbodnar-GS. I set a new password and now the plugin is working perfectly again.
I have the same problem, but a new password has not fixed it. Any other ideas?
Hi,
When I download images using SRTM Downloader the plugin seems to work fine, but the images downloaded appears with a red warning saying "Layer not available" and not showing anything on screen.
How can I fix this? Please help.
