I added latest contributors to the README, also removed the noticed about things being slow :)

Yeah, I'm not so sure myself. I don't want to come across like we think we're more important than other people.

Generally I avoid contributor blocks in README's for this reason. I prefer Changelogs (like http://keepachangelog.com/en/0.3.0/) with attribution to whomever wrote a thing.
