@FatCatClient Am I reading this right that this is implemented as a per-channel feature instead of a global one?

What would you think about a global/per-character version instead? Do you see any downsides/upsides?

It's supposed to work exactly as you described, but with a per-channel override (which I think is the best of both worlds). It's just that my implementation of this was very hasty and the global/ per-character setting is broken.

Will fix ~~later today~~ now.

As for upsides/ downsides, it might drive people mad if they have a ton of bookmarks and join popular rooms but that's why it's probably best to let people choose for themselves.
