Website Won't Upload! #1

Hey!

thanks for helping me find the issues tab again. Markbot still says my website isn't published. @thomasjbradley

Is there something wrong with the code?

Head over to this page here & look at the name of your index.html file. Is there something wrong with it? https://github.com/heatherlyall/html-validation-fixes

I don't think so, it's called index.html, no capitals, or spaces which is why I'm confused

Not weird: how computers work. Your Mac/Win computer is case-insensitive: it doesn’t distinguish between the "i" & "I". Even though you changed it on your Mac it was never detected, which means it was never committed & therefore still the original capital "I" version.

So, it’s easiest if you rename the file right on GitHub’s website.

Where do I go to change it from the website? I tried right clicking and it didn't have the option

Click on the file name, which will take you to another page. On the new page there’s a tiny little pencil where you can edit it.

How long did you wait? It can take up to 15 minutes for the website changes to go live.
