Mike reports that the API times out after 10 minutes (refresh cookies?) but feels like caching the user's auth credentials / session would be nice so that users don't get kicked out.

@mwolfson I was unable to reproduce this; left my computer idle for like 30 mins, still logged in. Firefox Ubuntu https://hsl-members-ui-staging.herokuapp.com/

@mwolfson I didn't log out after last time and when I opened the url above just now it kept me logged in. I think whatever issue you're seeing is maybe unique to the dev environment, your machine, etc.
