GetPostsQuery fails when you use a custom database prefix #277

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
I've created a custom post type, created a image field, given no specific
parameters and cliked save.

Added content in this specific content type, clicked the button to add image,
popup shows up but there are no image list.

Weird thing is that pagnitation seems to be working fine in the popup window.

Happens on all my websites that use the plugin.

this bug as been there since 0.9.5 and is still there in 0.9.5.2 (i've tested
them all)

Thanks for filing this in the bug tracker.

I'm not able to duplicate this behavior in 0.9.5.3. See the screencast here:
http://screencast.com/t/qzWTSQtI

You should update to the latest version of the CCTM -- there were some bugs
with this specifically in 0.9.5.0.

You can also try using the "Upload" button on your image fields (which fires up
WP's media browser), then click on its "Media Library" tab... you can select
images there by selecting them and clicking the "Insert into Post" button.

Have you tried disabling all other plugins to verify whether the problem
persists?

Beyond that, I'd need to troubleshoot this on your server because it could be
an environment issue (WP admin login and FTP login), but I'm leaning on this
being something that's already fixed in 0.9.5.3 (the most current release as of
this writing).

Helo,

I've update to WP 3.3.1 and update to CCMT 0.9.5.3. I've also disabled every
plugin that my website uses and the problem still persists.

I've also tried the media library method, which inserts nothing in the image
field upon clicking on "insert into post".

I've deleted every plugins and the problem is still present

I got your login info and I deleted the comment -- don't want logins floating
around the bug tracker. I'll need an FTP login to see what's causing this.

Found it: custom database prefixes are causing this. I didn't test that in my
environments ... boo... Working to find the fix now.

Ok, I tested this on your server. Man, sorry about that -- I fixed this on a
separate site that didn't have SVN and that fix didn't make it into the repo
until now.

Committed revision 484273.

0.9.5.4 just got pushed live -- should show up in for downloading shortly.

Alright ! Thanks for your quick support ! That rocks !

And by the way, don't need to be sorry, the account was for dev
purpose so didn't mind if you tested some things out

Have a good one!
