Hi @junrenge
It happened the same when I copied the key from a windows browser and tried to paste it into the browser.
You can try to check the length of the license, pasting it into a notepad, and saving the file. It would be around 1229 bytes.
Alternatively, you can download the key, connect to the docker you created and create a file called omnisci.license into /var/lib/omnisci/omnisci-storage (or directly on /omnisci-storage into the host if you used the default YAML settings) and restart the docker.

Thank you for your help.I tried but it didnot work.
hi @junrenge
I'm sorry but I gave you the wrong direction.
the license fie should be placed under /omnisci-storage/data
to be sure we are working with a valid license, I'm sharing my personal free license at this link removed link
let me know when you have downloaded, so I'll remove the link
hi @cdessanti I have downloaded your license, you can remove it now. And I put it under /omnisci-storage/data, the container cannot restart, error_log says 'Failed to parse key'. Now I try to start with Open Source edition, it works well.
That's worrying because I used without any problems with a 5.7.1 free on a tarball installs lately.
The Os is fine if you plan to use the database only because you are going to miss immerse and backend rendering.
I will try to reproduce the error you are getting.
