MSI error cannot install on drive other than C #885

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Got 2 drive small C SSD drive and a bigger D drive I try to install the 
mission planner on D drive 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Although I make sure to change letter on the installer the program is installed 
on the C drive, in the long run it will become too big with the logs growing up 
everyday for the small SSD drive

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
this install is done on windows 7 64bits

Please provide any additional information below.
