Issue with advanded link and search button after applying the faceted search

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click on any of the facets. Related results will be displayed.
2. Then click on the advanced search link. it will take you to advanced search 
page.
3. Enter new search keyword(new search query) and click on search button. it 
will take you to results page and displys the results based on new query. i 
could see the old facet paramers in the url and displaying the 
results based on old facet. in the below url 
"partialfields=Metakeywords%3AnGenius+Performance+Manager" is the facet 
parameter.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The old facets should be cleared and displays the new results.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

When click on the search button or advanced search button, the old facets 
peramers should be cleared and displays the new results.
