Transferring large files freezes application but doesnt crash it.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. when trying to transfer any large file to and from ipod touch.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A progress bar transfer and faster transfering. I see a program "not
responding" but still transferring as long as you dont "end process"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iphone browser v 1.4.0.0. running a windows xp pro build 2600 service pack 2

How large a file?

The progress bar in the lower right is supposed to update while transferring.

I can't speed up processing of the transfer that I know of - it is an Apple 
provided
service.

I checked and I think I can speed up large file transfers.

I also made some changes to progress bar updating to attempt to improve refresh 
of
progress bar.
