Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles Black Screen

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Attempt to load "Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles" from game list
[game is detected and cover art is displaying fine].

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Game should start [error 002 fix is necessary with USB Loader GX]--instead,
a black screen.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r1020, loading from an otherwise perfectly working USB drive.
