The approach to test alpha locally is as follows:

add the env variables;

AWS_DYNAMODB_TABLE_PREFIX=hedy-alpha AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY= AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID=
run the sever
run the tests.
create a script that we run periodically to clean the db of the testing user.
