hedyorg / hedy

Hedy is a gradual programming language to teach children programming. Gradual languages use different language levels, where each level adds new concepts and syntactic complexity. At the end of the Hedy level sequence, kids master a subset of syntactically valid Python.

🧹 Initialize database on app start-up #5630

Closed jpelay closed 2 months ago

jpelay commented 3 months ago

Moves the database initialization to the constructor of the Database object, and then calling it on __main__, this way we have a bit more control in the order of execution of these steps.

Fixes #5609

How to test

All tests should pass, and the database type checker should work as well.
