AndroidX support for Views and java/kotlin imports
AlertDialog -> appcompat.AlertDialog, for theme/style support (e.g. Material Design)

I accidentally branched from master, I have corrected the situation. Those two commits are no longer there. And all the imports are referring to androidx.
