Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I added a window w_manager with an ocx control ThermaLib.ocx
2. I called 'get Latest Version'
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Powerbuilder crashed, i saw before crashed "Importing w_manager.srw"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I used powerBuilder 11.5.1 4788, Tortoise 1.6.10 and pbscc 2.00.59

Please provide any additional information below.
When I deleted this file from source control and re-import to library, it has
been fine. import is succeed. Adding to source control is succeed too.

Rest of files, i might send via mail

Konrad,
Please activate pbscc.log file and reproduce the problem
Check old homepage http://dm.char.com.ua/pb/pbscc/pbscc.htm
to understand how to activate logging.

I can't reproduce the problem.

Questions:
Can you reproduce the problem ?
Do you have problem on each "get latest version" for this object?
What module name showed in the crash window?

Please attach file "c:\PB\MPRESS2.5\src\w_manager.srw" just after crash.

Try to switch to PBNative source control and perform "get latest version".
Is the problem remains?

Hi, I wrote same sample.
Before you started project you must install the ocx. run file: install.bat

When I say powerbuilder crashed, i mean My Vista show the message box with
message something like "powerbuilder stopped working".

In Windows EventLog: error Application PB115.EXE, version 11.5.0.2506,
timestamp 0x489933bc, error module MSVCR71.dll, version 7.10.3052.4, timestamp
0x3e561eac, error code 0xc0000005, error offset 0x00030299, pid 0x1490.

To repoduce this problem:
1. install thermallib.ocx
2. run workspace: bug_ocx.pb
3. set the source control
4. add to source control target with "multiple files"
5. do "get latest version" on w_manager.

Changing source control provider to pbnative doesn't remain the problem.

Yes, I had problem on each "get latest version" for this object. I try to do
"check out" and "undo checkout"

I have PB10, so I can't use exactly your project.
I have inserted your ole into the window
of test project and everything is fine on any scc operation.

I still can't reproduce the problem with my PB and your OCX.

Just before the end of the log there is a file copy:
copy "C:\PB\MPRESS2.5\tmp1\w_manager.srw" "C:\PB\MPRESS2.5\tmp\w_manager.srw"

Please send me both files just after crash.

Hi, bellow the files, which you ask. In c:\OB\MPRESS2.5\tmp I have the binary
files (*.pbl) and w_manager.srw is only one source file in this folder.

Hi,
Today I installed powerbuilder 12.1, and pbscc is working fine on it.
Probably problem is only in powerbuilder 11.5.1. I reporting this issue to
Sybase.

Hi All,
I saw the same issue with PB 11.5.1 Build 4843.

Is there any ideas how to solve this issue except upgrading to ver 12.?
