What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open NetCDF4Excel_2007.xlsm
2.Enable macros (NetCDF)
3.Open File from NetCDF

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output is the file opening up. Instead I get an error message: Run
time error 53: File not found: VbNc.dll
I have confirmed that the VbNc.dll file is present under the NETCDF4 Excel
directory.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 2.1 on Excel 2007 on Windows 8

Hi,
I've got the same issue and found an work-around (on Windows 7).
You need to copy VbNc.dll from the install folder (/ProgramFiles/NetCDF4Excel)
to the folder where your nc file (the one you want to open) is located.
Hope this helps.

irinar7 is right. The installer should copy the VbNC.dll to the chosen install
folder. If this is not the case, try to re-install or check you have admin
rights. If problem persists please post a message

Hi,
I encountered the same problem, followed Laura's advice, and indeed, now now no
error message. BUT - the file was opened as giberrish, though I went through
the text import procedure.
Any suggestions?
Thank you
Irith
