This is a feature request/discussion. Since discussions are not enabled, I am posting it here as an issue.
To simplify the process and the ease of use for our students, it would be interesting to publish this template on Typst Universe.
I would love to use this template in an "out-of-tree" fashion by importing it like this (or similar):
#import "@preview/hei-template-thesis:1.0.0": typst-thesis
This would allow me to have my own repo with my documentation, without having all the files linked to the template (out-of-tree fashion). It should work out of the box for the students as well.
