Connect here ideas and comments for the next major version.

Most issues should be on their own, with the NextVersion label.

Some loose ideas:

• Base all lists on date ranges, not line limits. That way, we don't have to read all lines every time. (See #208)
• Redesign the filters. I never need to see all beers with ratings or comments, for example.
• Make the full list expand selected entries like the beer board already does. And an option to show all expanded.
• Check if there are better graph tools that would load data and allow scrolling and zooming in the browser
• Use mod-perl to avoid the overhead of starting perl up for every page

Far out ideas:

• Rewrite the whole thing, maybe even in some different language (python? go?)
• A stand-alone server that could keep the data in memory instead of reading the file(s) on every request
• Use a real database, or something like that. Probably SqLite

Most of these didn't make it to V2, so I renamed the label to NextVersion
