@preceptsofzote it'll be helpful if you can create the installation script for Searx. What we plan on doing is creating a pixel themed fork of Suckless's Surf browser with the home page as pixarch's own Search Engine called Browsel. Browsel will just have a modified Theme on top of Searx with some other minor modifications for privacy.

Let me know!

i'll take a look. i think searx is actually in the AUR, so it shouldn't be rough to get the basic version installed.

It is, indeed, but it's a pain to do any configuration on it. It is a bit 'Bloated' as well, it seems.

ok, before i submit a pull request, i think i got searxng working (searx is a mess at this point, especially for theming, but ng worked just fine) the install script on my fork should pull searxng, install the browsel theming, and then activate a locally hosted searxng instance that you can access by going to 127.0.0.1:8888. give it a try and see if it does what you want? (you can run the install script in a preinstalled pixarch install, just say no to everything until it gets to the browser stuff).

Alright. I’ll check it out

by the way, the theme is located in the searxng clone directory, and in the templates folder
