Hi, maybe I'm missing something, but I've just exported a project to MIDI file, then re-imported it back as a new project, and volume levels were exactly the same. After importing that MIDI file to Reaper just to be sure, velocities also seemed the same.
My suspicion is that it has to do with your MIDI player, like the way it plays instruments from system MIDI bank (too quiet), or something?
No. Actually upon export, no matter what I used to play back the song, the audio levels were low, even when converting to .MP3. Using .WAV export, the audio levels were back to the originals and remained the same audio levels when converting to .MP3 from .WAV. I only ever export to .WAV anymore since then so my audio is still fine.
At this point I have very little idea of what is causing this, could you please provide more context - what exact steps I can take to reproduce this issue?
Software Version: Helio Workstation v2.3 x64[Portable] Export File: .MID/.MIDI Issue: Sound levels too low on export
When exporting any song I input to .MIDI or .MID, the output volume is far lower than when I'm editing any song, making it incredibly difficult to hear any songs when I choose to publish them after the export.
I can however export to .WAV, convert that and have no problem with the audio levels when playing them back.
