EDIT: I just found out that this exists using the middle mouse button and it's implemented in a much better way than what I described. The only issue in that case is that it's not written in the docs as far as I can tell.

hotkeys on the numpad for tweaking the volume slightly. Will make it more clear in the docs soon.
I love the velocity UI, but often I'm refining the velocity on a piano track with lots of overlapping notes and it becomes a bit tedious trying to find the correct bar to adjust it (or to select the note and then adjust it with the bar). Something like hotkeys for +10 and -10 velocity applied to selected notes would already be a massive time-saver for me.
A second solution, a bit nicer I think, would be to have a key + scroll wheel change the velocity of selected notes, in the same way that dragging the velocity bars for selected notes works now. Key + wheel up adds velocity, key + wheel down subtracts. Onlinesequencer.net has a nice implementation of this with alt + scroll wheel.
