Can't find plugins #326

I'm unsure how to add my own soundfonts or LV2 plugins. In the pit I click "scan custom plugin folder" and select my folder of .sf2 files or /usr/lib/lv2 but nothing shows up. Am I missing something obious? I'm on Arch Linux and tried with both the AUR package and my own build.

Select "Scan common plugin folders", and it should detect your LV2 plugins if they are in the proper directory. After scanning you will also have the built-in SoundFont player plugin in the list - create an instrument with it, then go to the instrument's UI and pick a soundfont file. Hope it helps.
