Those locking jtag cables run about 100usd. Here is a printable parametric (customizable) project if you have the ability to accurately print fine detail: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:22688 You can use those parts in combination with the following jig: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:33106 I have used them with these pogos: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019FGHZBG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Here is the bootloader used: https://github.com/TrackNet/bootloader
Looking at the above Bootloader repo, this is literally just a B-L072Z-LRWAN1 compatible device.
So maybe the STM32-Lora-Disco-RS repo can have "Tabs" compatibility? It might be difficult to open a Tabs, unsure yet? Also, you'd probably need a POGO mount to flash it. (3D print one.)
This should allow a slower send interval for GPS positions, or better compliance with Helium / LoRaWAN / LongFi specifics.
Also, Hsiang and the Discord channel #node-dev get credit for helping find the above info.
