[bug]: Wallet App forgetting wallet details #25

bug

Twice now when I've launched the app after not using it for a couple days, it's lost all my wallet data as if its being launched for the first time. Fortunately I have my 12 words backed up and I can reimport it, but its somewhat concerning that its not remembering the wallets I'm tracking. Any ideas? This is the new b/w mobile wallet app (NOT the hotspot tracker wallet app).

what app version are you using, and how many wallets is loaded on the app? just the one?

pixabits commented 1 year ago

v1.3.1. The first time I only had 1 or 2 wallets on it. When it asked me to set it up again, I figured it was a fluke during an update, so I imported again, but loaded it up with 10 (the max) this time around. Then when I opened it up this morning, they were all gone again.

Typically this behavior can happen when you sign out of icloud accounts / into another device. Did you get a new iPhone or set up an iCloud account somewhere?

All account backups are securely stored in iCloud for iOS devices.

Not that I can recall, and certainly not twice. -Rosswww.Pixabits.coOn Oct 3, 2022, at 5:16 PM, Coco Tang @.***> wrote: Typically this behavior can happen when you sign out of icloud accounts / into another device. The only idea I have is that I likely updated the OS in-between instances where it reset the app. Once from iOS 15.X to iOS 16, and the second time from iOS 16.0 to 16.0.2. But other apps don't forget state when the OS is updated, so something might be amiss there perhaps?
