Crashes at startup; patch included #67

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I built from r102
2. Installed it on my phone
3. started it

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see the introductory page full of explanatory text; instead I
saw some sort of error to the effect that the app crashed.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r102, on whatever version of Android just got pushed out today

Please provide any additional information below.

r103 still crashes on startup, on my phone:  "Sorry!  THe application ConnectBot
(process org.connectbot) has stopped unexpectedly.  Please try again."
