I'm sure your alternative path only branches in AddStudentCommand and not from logic manager. You can only know whether the student is in list or not after you have called hasStudents() in the command

The conditions for alternate paths do not have to be informed by previous calls. Although unintuitive, the only requirement for alternatives is that they are mutually exclusive.
