Probably true. The bar also obscures part of the Startvolume icon.
Are the two screens the same in pixel resolution or is the right-hand screen fewer pixels in height than the left-hand screen?

So, on the screenshot about everyhting is not as it should be:
As a conclusion, we can only say that multi-monitor setups are currently not supported unless the points are fixed.
@grahamperrin Can you set one of your screens as the Primary screen in Applications -> Prefereces -> Screen Settings, log out, log in again, and see if it changes anything? Then repeat with the other screen being set as Primary.

Also, a few (three?) icons missing from, or present but invisible within, the global menu bar. Volume etc..
Known issue, #221.
First run of Falkon after booting, with dual displays, I could not move the window from the primary display (on the right) to the required display (on the left).
