I have two Wacom graphics tablets, neither works on Hello os.

Please provide details, ideally a link to a Hardware Probe when the tablets are attached. I am using a Wacom tablet just fine with helloSystem.

CTL-4100 CTH 470 physical machine

I can't upload information because the network is blocked, I try to use usb tethering to connect the mobile phone to the network of the desktop computer but the system does not support it.

Those should most likely work.

Please attach them via USB directly to the computer (no USB hub in between) before powering on the computer. Then power on the computer and see whether it is working.

I don't know how to make them work with hotplugging, but when they are plugged in before starting the computer they should work.

louies0623 commented 1 year ago

I plugged it in before booting, but not working.

What is the model of graphics tablet you are testing with. I'm wondering if the drivers in the system only support the old ones but not the new ones.

probonopd commented 1 year ago

I have tested this with the Wacom CTL-672.

In GhostBSD, the CTL-470 graphics tablet works normally, but the CTL-4100 does not. I think the equipment is too new, and the equipment is released in 2020.

UPDATE: On Hello OS the drawing tablet CTL-470 is working fine, just have to reinsert it, but the CTL-4100 is still not.

probonopd commented 1 year ago

Possibly a USB ID needs to be inserted somewhere. Maybe worth checking whether a FreeBSD issue for this already exists on https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/, and if not create one. Thanks!

By the way, there is no "Hello OS", only "helloSystem" ;-)
