We need a simple Qt based hex editor.

https://github.com/Simsys/qhexedit2 might fit the bill. It also comes with a widget that can be used from PyQt.

Unfortunately, there is no port in FreeBSD yet.

Is QtCreator something worth using? Just got my FreeBSD desktop up and running, so I'm looking for advice to setup for Qt apps and such. Thanks.

Anywho, I'm working on porting the above mentioned app to FreeBSD. Will update.
