searchText() skips every third row in gridView if items are so big that only 2 rows can fit on screen at once

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have gridView of at least 4 rows of items that are so large that only two 
rows can fit on screen at once. Items should each contain unique text.
2. Use searchText() to search for text within any item at row 3

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: screen scrolls to row 3 once text is not found in row 1-2.
Actual: screen scrolls to row 4, skipping row 3 entirely.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Robotium 5.0.1
Mac OS X 10.9.1

The app is one of our NDA projects. I'm currently working with the developers 
to see if we can get you a working app of just the screen that is exhibiting 
this issue.
