HTTPS needed, at least for login #103

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to the site
2. log in

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
We expect at least the main authentication to happen over https, to reduce 
the odds of password sniffing/stealing over the network. However, the whole 
site is in HTTP.
