Non-MGL Registration results in blank username #69

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Register as a new user (clicking on "I am not here"). Give a suggested
username.
2. Wait for authorization

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The email should have my username. I see a blank there instead.

Email contents:
+++
Your Login Details are:

Username:[this is blank]
Password: [random string, as expected]
+++

I just confirmed in the DB, and the username is NULL for that user (id: 1889)
