Viewnior 1.8 shows this particular bmp file with an offset in the X axis. Not sure what causes this but it doesn't occur in gimp or other programs that support bmp files.
Correct behavior. The pixels in the left corners align with the left side:

The bmp file that causes this is in the attachment. The header is hand written but as far as i know it does conform to the bmp standard.
