Copy/Past of multiple elements

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. copy 2 or more elements at the same time
2. go to another tab 
3. paste

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Elements should appear.
Instead:
system error, canvas.currentController is null

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Pencil 1.3 beta, firefox 7, mac osx 10.6.x
