Wear OS updates showing for Pixel 2 #26

When I searched for updates, my Pixel 2 was showing Wear OS updates as available...

yeah it doesn't look like it currently filters based on your device architecture, so if the same apk has releases for multiple device types (wear for wearOS, leanback for tv) it will still recommend those. Maybe label this as a feature request for the future.

EDIT: Also worth noting, do not attempt to install an apk for the wrong architecture, or some very weird stuff can happen. Ive installed the leanback version of the google play movies store app and it does some really wear stuff / can crash. The easy fix is to uninstall it and upgrade again from the traditional google play store. The worst example of this is installing the wrong google play services apk. It can cause your phone to keep popping up saying the app has crashed so many times that it becomes almost impossible to get to the screen to uninstall and revert back to the built in version
