Users should be able to select a custom font from a pre-built list. This is especially important for maps in the hand-drawn style.

Google Fonts has a good "handwriting" font selection. https://fonts.google.com/?category=Handwriting&sort=popularity

A popular option is "Architects Daughter", used by the GitHub Pages theme "Architect".
