2nd Try...

let's see how it goes on your side, maybe I am lucky and it fixes both problems.

cedounet commented 1 year ago

Obviously I am not lucky: [STATUS] tex4ebook: Conversion started [STATUS] tex4ebook: Input file: book.tex [WARNING] domfilter: DOM parsing of bookch9.html failed: [WARNING] domfilter: ...e/texdir/texmf-dist/tex/luatex/luaxml/luaxml-mod-xml.lua:175: Unbalanced Tag (/td) [char=21965] HTML Tidy for Linux version 5.8.0

I will dig.

Now I can actually reproduce locally

❯ tex4ebook -c tex4ebook.cfg -f mobi book.tex [STATUS] tex4ebook: Conversion started [STATUS] tex4ebook: Input file: book.tex [WARNING] domfilter: DOM parsing of bookch6.html failed: [WARNING] domfilter: ...ive/2023/texmf-dist/tex/luatex/luaxml/luaxml-mod-xml.lua:175: Unbalanced Tag (/tr) [char=4799]

I will get back to it later... stay with me !

Seems OK:

pdf is not as nice, goes deep into the margin. Not an issue if you like trees... :)

I am keen to get that merged, and i will try to think of a way to have best of both worlds with some if/then/else in the tex code. Up to you obviously.

Perfect. Looking great. Also works in my Apple Books. Thank you!
