When editing some My Places entries the starting test is blank

What steps will reproduce the problem? See below

What is the expected output or behavior? What do you see instead?

What version of the plug-in are you using? Don't understand the question.
On what operating system? XP In which browser? Don't understand the question. 

Please provide any additional information (code snippets/links) below.

Normally if I rename an entry in My Places (using R-click > Rename, or the
shortcut Alt+Ctl+r), the original name is conveniently displayed ready for
editing. But for any blue entry (with a Description and balloon) this
doesn't happen. The field becomes blank.
