Google Maps choosing bogus zoom level when loading KML #195

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click this link:
http://maps.google.com/?q=http://www.nearby.org.uk/google/temp/Lookat3s.kml
2. then goto http://maps.google.com/ and paste in
http://www.nearby.org.uk/google/temp/Lookat3s.kml
into the search box.
3. look confused at the difference!

What is the expected output or behavior? What do you see instead?

When loading a single point via url Maps chooses a invalid zoom level. Would
expect it to choose the
closest available - like it does when paste in the url manually

What version of the plug-in are you using? On what operating system? In which
browser?
tested on Chrome and Firefox 2

GMAPS_API_VERSION is 130d.

Please provide any additional information (code snippets/links) below.

Also possibly related GMaps isnt honouring a Lookat on a single feature - but
does on a Document, but
that should probably be a seperate bug.
