Server crashes with empty buy

Bug description

There are villagers that gift me a few emeralds for free. (Somehow I can not trade them manually.)

In the auto trader it works. But they cause this easy villagers mod to crash the server.

I can not pick them up.

Minecraft version

1.21.1

Mod version

1.21.1-1.1.23

Mod loader and version

NeoForge: 21.1.73

Steps to reproduce

Server Crash

1. Put a villager into the auto trader.
2. Put a Engineer's Crafting Table into the auto trader.
3. 4 Emeralds are traded for nothing.
4. The server crashes.

Can not Pickup

1. Shift click such a villager, that gifts me diamonds for nothing.
2. No villager in the inventory.

Expected behavior

Server Crash

• The server should not crash.

Can not Pickup

• The villager should land in the empty hand.

1. Please give proper instructions on how to reproduce the issue. You cant even make villagers that have no buying item with a command. Minecraft does not allow that.
2. If you used a mod, please provide which mod you were using
3. Your log files are not complete at all.

1. It is the Machinist from the mod Immersive Engineering. To get one, use the Engineer's Crafting Table.
2. I have Immersive Engineering with version 12.0.0-128.
3. I am playing ATM10 with version 1.15.
