Git indicators do not update unless one more command is issued (similar to the previous directory update bug)

Using Hyper 2.0.0 with oh-my-zsh and the path is properly updating, however the git indicator icons are not updated unless I am pressing return again. Basically when I enter a clean git directory and edit a tracked files the indicator is invisible unless I use another command or hit return.
