An export/import or backup/restore function would be nice, also a search
function would be very much appreciated.

Not really an issue, but in some way it is ;)

I like the tool a lot. The ONLY reason, I don't use it so far is that there is 
no option for back-up and export. Highlighting the code, etc(i've seen few 
themes on that topics) are minor issues.

Yes, a backup option, for example to google docs is a must. The application 
looks awesome but is almost useless without that.
