Expose dummy devices for free@home #57

Hello :) my brother uses wired free@home in his house. Some blinds only offer a io homecontrol interface but there's a homebridge plugin. Is it possible to expose the blinds from homebridge to the free@home system in order to have them displayed on the Busch-free@home Panel?

I think of a similar way like homebridge-alexa exposes the homebridge devices to Alexa.

Hi again :)

is my question being understood?

The API seems to allow for creating virtual devices, which to my understanding could be used to expose all homebridge devices (or at least the standard types such as lights, outlets and blinds) to free@home. Is anyone else interested in that?

Hi. There is currently no plan to integrate this. Currently virtual devices are not supported but there is ongoing work on it. I cannot give an ETA right now but we would first switch to the REST API and after that (if there is interest) look into virtual devices.

Sad there are no plan to do so, it would make the free at home system so much more valuable. Even worse is the fact that there is no native support for HomeKit...
